Where does the whole -4 strength meme come from? I am looking at the 40k rulebook and the rules do not seem to corroborate the meme at all. The average Spess Mehreen has Strength 4, the average Battle Sister has Strength 3. By comparison, an Ork Boy, who is a 7 foot tall greenskinned barbarian, is Strength 3, and nothing in the entire Imperial Guard codex has a strength above 3 except for Ogryns. So, -4 strength compared to what? A Bloodthirster?
"You may feel a sensation akin to my metal gauntlet crushing your throat. This, of course, is an illusion created by the mind of a guilty heretic. What you are actually feeling is the stern judgement of The Emperor.
I would say that getting out of situation where you insult Canoness and get choked by her is more like getting out with a warning <.< Lucky Commissar, I guess or perhaps there was direct need to keep those Imperial Guards at line
Don't I know it. One of my friends could easily out arm wrestle me and any other bloke back in the days of high-school, and I've yet to demand a rematch any time soon because I'm sure it would be the same result. In the end it comes down to muscle and muscle is something that doesn't care about what gender you are.
Indeed. Me and one of my guy friends are the only ones in my social circle that have extensive training in anything that can be used to fight. For him it's fencing, for me it's karate. The only other one I know to have had some fight training is a girl friend. Oh, and one of my other girl friends does archery; she's pretty good at it too.
Ah karate. I used to take classes before other obligations started taking up my time. It's one of the best self defenses you can train yourself in, especially since it's a little cumbersome to travel around in public with a fencing sword or bow heh.
an abbreviation for a table top game statistical stat: 4 points of strength. Used here because it's a common misconception amongst some gamers that female characters have 4 points less strength than the average male.
